Hi, I’m Cherie … a nurse, bead enthusiast, and the hands and heart behind creations by cherie.

For years, I’ve made jewelry simply because it brings me joy. I love the colors, the tiny details, and the sparkle of beads. It started as a creative outlet alongside my nursing career and slowly turned into something much bigger.

The “fit” part of my story began at work. I was making one-size bracelets for my co-workers, and even in that small group of women, the same bracelet did not fit everyone. Some were too tight, some slid right off. That’s when it clicked for me: if one size couldn’t even fit a handful of women I knew personally, this had to be a widespread problem.

Since then, my business has proven that instinct right. About half of the bracelets I sell are either the Small or the Large size … not the middle “standard” size. And in anklets, it’s even more obvious: around 60% of anklets sold are size Large. That’s a lot of women who’ve been told “one size fits all,” when clearly, it doesn’t.

That didn’t feel right.

So creations by cherie became something more intentional … a size-inclusive jewelry brand focused on fit first. Now my bracelets and anklets come in three adjustable sizes … Small, Average, and Large … so more women can finally slip something on and think, “Oh… this actually fits.”

Every piece is handmade by me, one at a time, from my home in Pennsylvania. I choose beads and colors that feel joyful and easy to wear, and I test designs on real wrists and ankles (including my own and my friends at work) to be sure they’re comfortable, not just pretty.

I believe:

  • Jewelry should never make you feel like you need a different body to deserve it
  • One size does not fit all … and we don’t believe in it here
  • The right bracelet or anklet can make you feel seen, not squeezed or left out

When you order from creations by cherie, you’re not just getting something handmade … you’re getting something designed with your fit in mind from the very first bead. My hope is that when you clasp a bracelet or anklet from my shop, you feel a little more comfortable, a little more confident, and a lot more like it was made just for you.
